Great teaching. To complete your teaching... ponder: 1) what are the purposes Abba gave us His Word? 2) Then tell us: What does He want us to learn (who He is, what He expects, giving us hope, prophecy, etc.) from this specific teaching of His Word? 🥰
1. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says that God gave us His Word, the Truth, for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. I use scripture for all of these things. This teaching falls under the category of teaching, correction, and a hint of reproofing.
2. I believe that the importance lies in Judgement Day. Ultimately I don't think God would be very happy about us teaching that somehow we are judged and placed before judgment day, before our eternal home is ready. I believe God wants the Truth to be taught. This, is what I believe is the truth, plainly taught in the Scriptures.
Honestly, this teaching might go against the grain of modern tradition, but it is far from anything new. Once we take modern tradition and presuppositions out of the equation, scripture starts to make a lot more sense.
